Someone told me about a quote her teacher used to say:
Don’t pick the flowers on the way, there are better ones ahead
And I was like — hmm… maybe.
But what if there are no better flowers ahead? What if the one you already had the chance to pick was the best one there was?
What if that flower was the entire meaning of life?
Because sometimes, in the chase of better things, we forget to value what we already have.
We keep telling ourselves, “Maybe something better is waiting for me ahead.” And maybe it is.
But what if, while looking for that better thing, we completely miss what was already beautiful?
Maybe life is about moving forward.
But maybe it’s also about stopping sometimes — and actually enjoying the flowers you find along the way.
And maybe it’s not just about the flowers.
Maybe it never was.
Think about it.
